Celtic Circle 2026 – 1450€ – Leg 1: La Rochelle – Cork

Una navigazione dal sud di Bretagna al sud di Irlanda, in tempi lontani le terre dei Celti, un insieme di popoli indoeuropei che, nel periodo di massimo splendore (IV-III secolo a.C.), erano estesi in un’ampia area dell’Europa.

Partenza da La Rochelle, con arrivo a Cork: 500M in dieci giorni su un Pogo 36, una barca veloce e stabile, che ci consente di godere sia la navigazione che i posti che si trovano lungo il percorso.

Chi non vorrebbe navigare tra le Isole Scilly? Questo arcipelago, che segna il confine tra il Canale della Manica e l’Oceano Atlantico, è composto da 58 isole  ed isolotti di cui soltanto sei di esse risultano essere abitate.

Qualche faro famoso si trova lungo la nostra rotta: per prima La Vielle che  sorveglia La Raz de Sein, poi La Jument sulla costa dell’isola di Ouessant, il Wolf Rock che fa la guardia nella Manica ed il leggendario Fastnet a 10 miglia  dalla costa irlandese.

Who wouldn’t want to sail among the Isles of Scilly? This archipelago, marking the boundary between the English Channel and the Atlantic Ocean, is made up of 58 islands and islets, of which only six are inhabited.

Some famous lighthouses are found along our route: first La Vieille, which guards the Raz de Sein; then La Jument on the coast of the island of Ouessant; Wolf Rock, standing sentinel in the Channel; and the legendary Fastnet, 10 miles off the Irish coast.
