SUMMARY:Celtic Circle 2026 - 1450€ - Leg 1: La Rochelle - Cork
\nA voyage from the south of Brittany to the south of Ireland\, once lands of the Celts — a group of Indo-European peoples who\, at the height of their power (4th–3rd century BC)\, were spread across a vast area of Europe. \nDeparture from La Rochelle\, arriving in Cork: 500 nautical miles in ten days aboard a Pogo 36\, a fast and stable boat that allows us to enjoy both the sailing and the places we encounter along the way. \nWho wouldn’t want to sail among the Isles of Scilly? This archipelago\, marking the boundary between the English Channel and the Atlantic Ocean\, is made up of 58 islands and islets\, of which only six are inhabited. \nSome famous lighthouses are found along our route: first La Vieille\, which guards the Raz de Sein; then La Jument on the coast of the island of Ouessant; Wolf Rock\, standing sentinel in the Channel; and the legendary Fastnet\, 10 miles off the Irish coast. \n
